Applying Window Tinting Film
Always start with the rear window of the car when you start application of window tinting film on your vehicle. The rear windows usually have curvy glass and it becomes quite difficult to apply the film on these as the space is quite restricted and the shape of the glass in not conducive to film application. The film needs to be cut using a pattern which can be made out from the outside surface of the window glass and the film can be applied.
For the rear hatch if we want to create patterns we must cut strips of the window tinting film and then apply it in the desired patterns. However care must be taken to overlap the films atleast 2 mm at all joints.
Chile cutting the film and applying it care must be taken that pointed ends and round ends are properly cut and applied as these are the places which are prone to get off and get peeled with ease. Once the cutting is complete the film needs to be applied from the inside. A spray bottle is used to spray the window tinting film pasting solution on the glass. Now you need to apply the film as you did on the outside. All air bubbles visible must be eased out starting from the center of the applied film.
After removing all the air bubbles and application of all the pieces, you need to use a very sharp knife or razor blade to cut the extra edges of the film which are not required. If seamless joints are required, the overlapping film must also be cut and removed.
After application the films must be cleaned with a cloth which is free of any lint. Care must be taken to squeeze out all the extra film solution and air bubbles before using a cloth to dry the film as once dry it would be impossible to remove the air bubbles.
