DIY Window Tinting
It is any hobbyist’s dream to apply window tinting films on his own vehicle windows or his home windows. Unless you know the tricks of film application, it is going to become a mess and you will end up with air bubbles in the applied films. The first requirement is that of a dust free and clean environment. The glass where the film has to be applied must be thoroughly cleaned of all dirt, grease and any spots using a good quality glass cleaner and special cloth which is lint free. The cleanliness of the window glass determines how well the tinting film application has been done. A dirty glass will lead to bad application of the window tinting film.
The next step you must take is to remove the rubber wipes, door panels and seals from the vehicle doors as these usually obstruct the application of the film properly. After removal of these items from the door you will definitely find the glass dirty at some places which should be cleaned properly before we start the application of the film. In case of a hatchback vehicle you may even remove the hatch at the rear to ease the installation procedure.
The first tip or you can call it a secret of windows tinting films application is to start with the rear windows where the shape is pretty awkward and the space to work is restricted. Most of the rear windows have complex curves and the secret solution to this problem is to create a pattern for the film from the outside and then apply it from the inside.
Following this trick it is very easy to apply the tinting film on all the windows perfectly.
